3. the~穷人；病人；弱者

eg: The weak should be protected, but it is not the case.

4. 不善于；不擅长；（能力）弱的

1. weak at the knees （因激动、恐惧、疾病等）两腿发软

eg: He was weak at the knees when he saw the tiger in the forest.

在森林里看到老虎的时候他吓得两腿发软。

2. the weak link (in the chain) 薄弱环节

eg: The enemy found the weak link of their troop and defeated them.

敌军找到了他们军队的薄弱环节，然后打败了他们。
